Question

What is the difference between an AIA G702 and a G703?

The two forms work together.

  • G703, the continuation sheet: the schedule of values. Each row is a piece of the job with its price, how much was done before, how much was done this period, and the balance to finish.
  • G702, the application and certificate for payment: takes the totals from the G703 and works out the contract sum, retainage, previous payments, and the current payment due.
